Working against nature
Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
In this verse Paul continues to tell how the men were doing exactly what the women were doing, giving into their lustful hearts and desires working against nature and working against what God had intended for the use of a man to be with a woman.
It is against God's will for a man to be lying with another man, homosexuality is a sin and an abomination before the Lord.
Leviticus 18:22, 20:13 Plainly tells us that lying with mankind as womankind is forbidden and it goes against every rule and law that the Lord has given mankind to follow, as Paul mentions in verse 26 God created man for woman and woman for man.
Anything associated with the worship of idols of any form and any kind is an abomination.
Kenneth Wuest writes;
“And likewise, also the males having put aside the natural use of the females, burned themselves out in their lust, full appetite towards one another males with males carrying to unlimited conclusion that which is shameful, receiving in themselves that retribulation which was a necessity in the nature of the case because of their deviation from the norm”.
The men were doing exactly what the women were doing, giving in to unholy passions, the men gave themselves over to the burning lust of their desires one towards the other as Paul says in this verse, they exchanged the natural use of a female and what was used specifically for a female, they committed abomination and utter disgrace between themselves giving in to those things that worked against nature.
In doing so, they dishonored their bodies between each other going against every rule that the Lord has given for a man and a woman to conduct themselves between themselves.
God has given a man to marry a woman, to have a wife and the wife to have a husband, the pleasure of the husband is for the wife and the wife for the husband, this is God's order that He has set, anything that is out of the order that God has set is a sin and is disgraceful.
It is needful for those who practice homosexuality to repent from their sins and give their life to the Lord Jesus, it is because of Him, that God can set the vilest sinner to go free.
It's because of Calvary and what Jesus has paid for on the Cross that “whosoever will call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”.
Because of the love that God has for mankind and He wishes no for one to perish, He gave His only begotten Son Jesus, who paid with His Lifeblood at the Cross, so that the sinner can go free.
God does not love the sin but loves the sinner, and the proof in that love is looking through the eyes of the finished work of the Cross where Jesus laid His life down for whosoever will put their complete faith in Him and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
